I want a custom DATE. Is that possible?

Of course! Every CREATIVE DATE is custom to you which is why there is a consultation.

How can I get my questions answered prior to booking?

Most questions can be answered by reading the entire website. If you have read everything and still have questions, please send us an email by clicking “contact us” in the footer menu below. We will contact you as soon as possible. Since email is the primary form of communication for CREATIVE DATE, it is the best way to get your questions answered quickly. When sending an email, please be specific. If you need a quote, please click on the “BOOK NOW” button and follow the steps all the way through.

When should I book my CREATIVE DATE?

We suggest booking ASAP to secure the date you want and the more notice you can give us the better. Most CREATIVE DATES should be booked at least 72 hours prior to your event date. Engagements and proposals take longer to CREATE so they require more notice. For these, we ask you to book them at least 7 days prior to your event date. Like all great things, we get fully booked especially on weekends.

Can I pay cash?

No. We do not allow our staff to accept cash due to safety issues. Having them walk around with cash could put them in harms way. Plus, due to our policy all invoices must be paid 48 hours in advance to your CREATIVE DATE.

What is the service fee for?

Service fees are customary in the event planning industry. The fee covers the labor & travel expenses picking up items such as add-ons options, décor, and flowers for your CREATIVE DATE. The cost of the actual date is just that, the cost of drinks, food, and the extras. Another way to think of it is, when you plan an event on your own, often you need to take time organizing with vendors and researching items and a location. The consultation cost covers those expenses, while the service fee covers the time and labor we spend executing the details of the event. The 20% service fee will be added to the final invoice. We appreciate your understanding of the service fee since we work really hard to make your CREATIVE DATE a custom experience.

What happens if there is bad weather and I chose a location outside?

Within 48 hours prior to your DATE, if you think the weather may affect you, you can contact us or we will contact you to discuss your options. There is no cancellation charge for rescheduling your location outside due to bad weather within 48 hours. Cancellations based on bad weather conditions will be made at the sole discretion of Creative Date Planner. If you would rather not worry about the weather, make sure you choose an inside option for your CREATIVE DATE!

 

What’s your cancellation policy?

We do not offer any refunds, but we can reschedule your booking with a 72 hour advance notice. After that, there is a $25 fee to reschedule your booking.

With advance notice, we will reschedule or issue a credit for you to use within 3 months. A credit will be issued if a 72 hour or more in advance notice is given. 72 hours - 24 hours we charge a 50% cancellation fee. 24 hours or less cancellations will not be issued a credit. No shows will not be issued a credit.

When is the final invoice due?

The final invoice is due in full 48 hours prior to the CREATIVE DATE start time. If the invoice is not paid 48 hours prior to the start time, the CREATIVE DATE will be cancelled.

I can not select the date and time I want on your calendar. What should I do?

If the calendar does not allow you to select the date and time, its probably booked. However, we might be able to accommodate additional CREATIVE DATES. Please contact us by email to see if we can fit you in.

How long do I have to adjust add-ons?

Our add-ons come from family-owned local businesses. Everything is homemade fresh to order. We need time to work with them to accommodate our custom orders. Please let us know 5 days in advance to your CREATIVE DATE for any final add-ons. If changes are made resulting in a credit, we will send a refund back to the original form of the payment.

Where will my CREATIVE DATE be located at?

We will give you 2 options to choose from. We investigate each location to see if it is feasible to host your DATE there. If you have a special location in mind, please let us know on your booking form. We will always try to accommodate special location request, however there is a possibility of an additional fee if it require permits.

Is Creative Date Planner looking for new vendors or locations for their bookings?

Absolutely, we are always willing to work with new people. We would like to hear your ideas, locations, or add-on options. Just send us an email with your information and how you would like to work with us.
